Day 1. Arrival in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
You arrive in Bishkek early in the morning. We will organise a transfer to a hotel where you could rest for a few hours. After a wonderful lunch, we will show you the motorbikes during a short tour. You will spend the night in Bishkek.
Day 2. Trip to Lake Issyk-Kul
On the way to Lake Issyk-Kul, we will visit a few attractions and the beautiful gorge Ak-Tüz, which is situated at the height of 2300 metres. Our destination will be a Yurt camp on the beach of Lake Issyk-Kul.
Day 3. Trip to Karakol
After spending the night in a Yurt, we will have some time before lunch to enjoy a swim in Lake Issyk-Kul. After lunch we will continue our trip. We will visit the canyon “Skazka” (which in English means “Fairy Tale”), the gorge and waterfall “Barskaun” and the valley “Zheti-Oguz” (which in English means “Seven Bulls”) where you could also try the traditional drink “kumys”. Afterwards we will go to Karakol, the city which was established in XIX century.
Day 4. Surroundings of Karakol
We will spend a day in the surroundings of Karakol. After breakfast in the hotel, we will visit a Yurt show, where you will have a chance not only to see how they make the Yurts, but also take part in making them. Afterwards, you will be able to take part in preparing the traditional dish “beshbarmak” which will be our lunch. After the delicious lunch, we will visit a picturesque Karakol canyon. We will stay in Karakol for the night.
Day 5. Along the north coast line of Lake Issyk-Kul
In the morning we will have one more visit to the canyons. We will visit the Semenov and Grigorii canyons and then spend the night in the Cholpon-Ata city - the last night on the Lake Issyk-Kul.
Day 6. Road trip to Lake Son-Kyl
We will say goodbye to Lake Issyk-Kul in the morning and will start our journey to the water reservoir Orto-Tokoi and another stunning Lake Son-Kul situated at 3000m height.
Day 7. From Lake Son-Kul to Susamyr
Today our destination is a Susamyr village in Susamyr valley. The road will take us through the amazing hills, forests and meadows. We will pass by the coal mine and along River Kerkemeren. In the evening we will have the opportunity to taste several types of the traditional drink “kumys”.
Day 8. Last pass and the road to Bishkek
On the return to Bishkek, we will pass one of the highest passes of Kyrgyzstan which is 3400 metres high and is called Töö Ashuu (which in English literary means ‘Camel’s pass’). This is the pass that links the Chui valley with the Susamyr valley with the 2.2-kilometre-long road tunnel that links the north and south sides. The pass has the remarkable serpentine road and the amazing views. The Töö Ashuu pass in olden days was an important pass of the Great Silk Way. We will be back in Bishkek in time for a pleasant rest and a farewell dinner.
Day 9. Farewell and transfer to the airport
Early in the morning you will be taken to the airport to catch your flight.
